These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Sun Window Cleaning website and the residential window cleaning services we provide. By requesting a quote, scheduling a visit, or using our website, you agree to these Terms.
1. About us
Sun Window Cleaning is a family-owned residential window cleaning business based at 415 W Golf Rd #28, Arlington Heights, IL 60005, serving the Chicago suburbs.
2. Services
We offer exterior window cleaning, interior window cleaning, and related care for residential properties. The scope of any given visit is described in the written quote we provide before the appointment.
3. Quotes and pricing
- Quotes are based on the information you share (address, window count, access). If actual conditions differ materially on arrival, we may adjust the quote in writing before starting work.
- Prices are flat-rate. Sales tax is added where applicable.
- Quotes are valid for 30 days from the date issued.
4. Scheduling and weather
We work in most weather, but heavy rain, freezing temperatures, lightning, or other unsafe conditions may require us to reschedule. We will give you as much notice as we can and offer the next available date.
5. Cancellations
- You may cancel or reschedule with no charge up to 24 hours before your appointment.
- Cancellations made within 24 hours of an appointment may be subject to a trip fee.
- If our crew arrives at a scheduled appointment and is unable to access the property, a trip fee may apply.
6. Access and property condition
You agree to provide reasonable access to the windows being cleaned, including clearing nearby items where practical and securing pets. Please let us know in advance about:
- Cracked, broken, defective, or improperly installed windows or seals.
- Loose screens, painted-shut sashes, or hardware that may be fragile.
- Alarm systems, locks, or other access details.
We will treat your home with care, including booties indoors and drop cloths on sills. We are not responsible for pre-existing damage or for damage caused by undisclosed conditions.
7. Payment
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, payment is due upon completion of the service. We accept the payment methods listed on our website or quote. Late payments may be subject to a late fee.
8. Satisfaction guarantee
If something isn't right, tell us within 48 hours of your appointment and we will return to re-clean the affected windows at no additional cost. This guarantee covers cleaning quality. It does not cover changes in window condition caused by weather, environmental factors, or use after our visit.
9. Liability
Sun Window Cleaning carries appropriate business insurance. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of or related to our services is limited to the amount you paid for the service in question. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.
10. Photos
We may take photos of completed work for quality control and may, on occasion, use representative photos for marketing. We will never include identifying details (address, license plates, faces) without your permission.
11. Intellectual property
All content on this website, including the Sun Window Cleaning name, logo, copy, and imagery, is the property of Sun Window Cleaning or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or redistribute this content without our written permission.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date above shows when the latest version took effect. Continued use of our services after a change indicates your acceptance of the updated Terms.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or related to these Terms or our services will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Cook County, Illinois.
